Jan 15, 2019 Java is not included in macOS anymore. If you attempt to run Java without it having been manually installed, you'll see this in terminal: Code: No Java runtime present, requesting install. And then you'll get a GUI prompt telling you that in order to use Java you need to install a JDK.

I can confirm this works with the Bash shell on Mac OS X 10.10. When I run the
java -version
command after opening a new Mac Terminal window, the output is 1.8.0_25

A slightly more difficult way to set your Mac Java version is to look under the /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines directory to see which versions are installed, and then manually set the version. Macos caffe undefined symbols for architecture x86_64 cv imencode.
